The adidas Superstar‘s 30th anniversary celebration has come correct in the originality department. The German boutique enlisted local artist Ivan Beslic to transform one of the three stripes’ most iconic models into a assignment of art in an homage to hip-hop history, basketball, and skate culture. Utilizing a crisp white leather upper, a suede tongue leads into the platane-wood shell-toe while some of Beslic’s original prints serve as the insole. The collaborative effort will launch on July 31st at the Afew x Ivan Beslic Exhibition at Afew’s Düsseldorf location. The exhibit will feature original works from Ivan Beslic as well as a display of upcoming adidas Originals will also be releasing its Pink windbreakers adidas Originals.
