Urlfreeze News Montreal’s moodboard-turned-purveyor of simple goods JJJJound has revealed a Onitsuka look at an upcoming collaboration with the 992 model, confirming a return to the dingy grey hue that was made famous by their 990v3 collaboration of late 2018. Aside from the signature hue, the underlays and heel-tabs are a shade darker, while a jet black colors in the N logo as well as the interior lining of the shoe. Somehow JJJJound manages to re-interpret the basic grey New Balances with a subtlest of touches, proving that less is more given the right application. That’s been the case for nearly all the collaborations this year, including the Kith BEAMS x Paperpoy x New Balance 920 and the New balance 570 v3 wide triple white strap junior kids running shoes yt570lw3-w. A release date has yet to be confirmed, but once these drop, don’t expect them to be available for long. More details to come.
