Jovani Hernandez Over the years, PUMA has celebrated a number of important anniversaries, be it related to its own lineage or a collaborators’. For its latest collection, the storied German bras has been tapped by Nickelodeon to honor the 30th anniversary of the original “Rugrats” series.
Comprised of the Future Rider, Court Rider and Classic Suede, the capsule blends PUMA design with cues from the beloved 1990s television program. The iconic suede-covered silhouette opts in for the most understated look of the bunch, donning a predominantly black ensemble complemented by hits of orange, purple and blue. By comparison, the accompanying pairs heavily indulge in shades of teal, while boasting equally-eye-catching hits of yellow, purple and orange across its upper and sole unit. “Rugrats”-related brasing appears across the tongue and sock-liner, with nods to Reptar being featuring on the Classic Suede’s heels. Apparel included in the collection further commemorates the green dinosaur, while also featuring Spike and other cast members.
