Over the course of the last eight years, adidas rink has made several new additions to the NMD line-up. And following the debut of the NMD_G1, which surfaced at the very beginning of 2023, the Three Stripes will soon be welcoming yet another new member to the family: the NMD_W1.

Unlike its above-mentioned counterpart, the adidas rink NMD_W1 appears to be a women’s exclusive. Releasing on the first of July in not one but two different colorways — “Collegiate Orange” and “Cloud White” — the model is a more contemporary interpretation of the original NMD_R1. While the general shape and form are similar to said predecessor, the specific details are aesthetically distinct: the midsole plugs are both sleeker and rounder in shape; the BOOST sole is enlarged to platform height; and the upper features a soft, ribbed textile.
