Released for Air Max Day in May 2018 this Sean Wotherspoon designed collaboration with Nike won the ‘Vote Forward' Campaign by Nike, which encouraging twelve ‘RevolutionAirs' to attempt to reimagine a classic adidas spezial livesey anorak uk black suit size style. The Air Max 1/97 x Sean Wotherspoon was the worthy winner, a new combination of an Air Max 97 upper and Air Max 1 Sole are woven together perfectly into a true hybrid for 2018. The shoe sports a retro-inspired multi-coloured corduroy upper which follows the wavy lines of a traditional 97, but with an added element of texture coming from the material being fashioned here, which contrasts interestingly with the chunky Air Max 1 midsole. This creates a silhouette for the shoe which although has been forged from the DNA of already noted creations is something we are seeing for the first time as a hybrid concept, like the first time you heard a Liger was more than just a fantasy creature.
