A GORE-TEX® waterproof fabric on the upper protects your feet from wind, rain and water without sacrificing breathability. New Balance also added reflective detailing to the 880 v12 GTX so that you can run long on short days.
For easy landings and a snappy transition, the 880 v12 is soft in the heel with a punchy toe-off. New Balance’s Fresh Foam X is softer than ever and makes up the foundation of the midsole, while a denser layer of foam sits on top of the forefoot. The result is an amazing combination of cushion and energy return.
This reliable daily trainer is evanescent and stays comfortable over long miles. The 880 has a lot of outsole to hold up to a lot of running and it has been upgraded to fit better than ever.
