It features the signature Topo fit with a wide toe box, so your toes can splay and a snug midfoot and heel to give you a great lockdown. Plus, a new OrthoLite® footbed gives you long-term comfort and odor resistance.
A cool and breathable mesh upper has printed overlays and an internal skeleton lining to keep the fit secure and prevent your foot from sliding off the cushioning during side-to-side movements or speedwork. A relaxed heel construction with no built-in heel counter provides for a more natural fit and makes these shoes a great travel companion because they can essentially pack flat.

Topo designers made a few changes to the ST-4. There is a new outsole with more rubber coverage, making the shoe more durable. They also raised the midsole topline to let your heel sink into the platform, making it more stable for gym work and speedwork. A new engineered mesh upper is lightweight and more breathable.
