Sandy Liang

Sandy Liang is a New York based-and-bred designer who draws energy and inspiration from her memory and surroundings. As a designer whose roots are firmly in outerwear, Liang focuses on structure, materiality, identity and now has the ability to create elevated detailing in luxurious fabrications. Liang's eponymous brand explores the memories of comfort from winter coats on the school playground, her first impressions of silhouette and color from 90s brands that she saw on the streets on NYC and the wit of cartoon-y, playful indulgences. Each collection builds on the last, with thoughtfulness and consistency that isn’t common in a young brand. As a biographical designer, Sandy Liang innovates within the range of emotionality that inspires her.
