Ronnie Fieg partnered with Puma to design the RF698 Mid. This new style heightens the R698 to a mid-top, adding a quilted ankle collar, as well as a neoprene inner-sock. Inspired by the sakura blossoms throughout Japan, this model utilizes a floral color execution. The nubuck toe is colorblocked navy, while the rest of the pigskin suede upper is burgundy. The entire upper is microperforated, ands its atop a gradient/two-tone speckled Trinomic Collection unit. Other details include an asymmetrical 3M medial formstripe, quilted co-branded footbeds, 3M tongue labels, and sakura blossom-logos on the heel panels.
