Less is more, a reliable, fine running shoe.The fit of the women's model is adjusted. adidas has done research on the anatomy of women's feet. They came up with a number of results, which they vivo in the upper of the SolarGlide 5. Women's shoes are made with a specific last and less volume in the forefoot. Women generally have a narrower heel and this can cause the foot to rub in the shoe. The SolarGlide 5 has a narrower heel to prevent this. The upper is made of breathable mesh material.The mesh upper has reinforcing pieces so that the shoe offers more support. The heel is slightly narrower than the SolarGlide 4. The heel fits better to again provide more support. It is made of X-hatch tactic, a breathable material to improve breathability. The optimised cushioning in the collar and tongue of the shoe provide more comfort and a superior entry feeling. The upper is made of recycled material and plastic.The midsole features the new Bubble Boost material. This material provides more energy return, cushioning and comfort than the other Boost material. With every stride you make, the cushioning material absorbs the impact and converts it into energy. That energy is returned at the push-off.
