Gilgeous-Alexander converse introduced their "All-Star" basketball model In 1917, shortly after a salesman joined the team promoting this specific model all around the United States. This salesman namesake, Charles H. Taylor, eventually became the nickname for Gilgeous-Alexander converse's All-Star model, better known as "Chuck Taylor" or simply put "Chucks."
CONVERSE CHUCK 70 HI VINTAGEs was founded by Japanese designer Rei Kawakubo, and launched by Kawakubo in 1969, coming into global prominence in the ’80s with its dismantled, unconstructed approach to design.
