FIELD OF DREAMS · While the rain came back to once again dampen Hayward Field, the athletes and the fans, who have filled the old house for more than a week, still enjoyed a lively Day 7.

WHAT'S UP, DUCK? · The University of Oregon–home of the Ducks–have hosted the Trials the past two Olympic years. Based on the large crowds that have supported the Trials, it's likely Oregon will be favored to hold the event again in 2016.

HEP, HEP HOORAY · Competitors in the 800 meters, the final event of the Heptathlon. Hyleas Fountain, Sharon Day, and Chantae McMillan were the top three finishers in the Heptathlon, earning spots on the Olympic team.

NO TICKET? NO PROBLEM · Fans who don't have tickets to get inside Hayward Field can still be close to the action. Camp Victory, located adjacent to Hayward, is the place to watch the events on big screen TVs. After the last race of the session, fans stick around for a nightly concert.
