Named after ultrarunner Karl “Speedgoat” Meltzer, director of a rugged 50K race in Utah by the same name, the Speedgoat is all about grip and long-run cushioning over tough terrain. Testers appreciated the roomy fit and the new engineered mesh, especially toward the end of long training runs, when feet swell.
