Water and coffee are the primary liquids that hydrate my day, and fuel my body before—and after—I run. I use a MiiR bottle commuter cup for the hot stuff and a Hydro Flask for my travel water bottle (car, gym). But you can find me at work, running from room to room, with my cell phone in my back pocket, laptop in my right hand, and OtterBox Elevation tumbler in my left. Always.

This water bottle accomplishes a few things that I find super convenient as I go about my day. Twenty ounces holds a lot of liquid which means less trips to the kitchen for refills. The closed lid that comes with the bottle creates a tight seal that eliminates awkward spills or drips when rushing out the door. The flip top lid snaps into place—open or closed—easily and stays put.

Pick a Lid, Any Lid

For a little extra dough, you have the option of purchasing a variety of different lids, a la cart. This makes the tumbler extremely versatile; there’s a shaker lid for shakes (or cocktails), French press lid for the coffee aficionado, infuser lid for an elevated liquid experience, and a thermal lid for colder outdoor adventures. While we’re on the subject of options, this bottle is available in 11 colors (eight at Amazon), and the tumbler is available in a 10-ounce or 16-ounce.

Thoughtful Design

Though the 20-ounce is quite large, the designers at OtterBox took a few things into consideration. First, the weight and size: It holds a lot but even when full of liquid or ice, it never feels too heavy to hold or carry around. Second, the shape: The bottom of the bottle is narrower than the top, which means it fits into most cup holders. And lastly, its inability to sweat: Zero perspiration gets through this container no matter what’s going on inside or outside.
