The S1 and R1, shoes released earlier this year, were both worn by competitors at the 17-day-long MTC Jogle, an ultra road race that covers over 860 miles across England. The newest Mount to Coast model is its most cushioned trainer; the “P” in P1 stands for protection. The shoe has a soft and responsive PEBA-based midsole, and a 10mm offset. The P1 introduces Mount to Coast’s 3D Archrail technology, which reduces erratic movement in the forefoot to provide stability.
