I got these a month ago to test, so I’ve had time to get a workout and long run in them. Aside from the $500 Evo Pro 1, this is Adidas’s fastest marathon racing shoe. I may not be running NYC fast, but it doesn’t mean I can’t have the shoes to pretend like I am! I’m slowing down and doing it as a long run, joining my buddy Lorenzo for his first-ever marathon. So, I’m hopeful they stay comfortable for nearly 4 hours on the streets of the city.
I’m confident they’ll work great. The Adios Pro 4 has Lightstrike Pro cushioning, which is featherweight and springy. In my first workout, 6-minute pace felt nearly effortless. A few days later, I laced them up for a 15-mile long run, just cruising at 8-minute pace. I felt as fresh at the end of that run as I did when I started.
I’m looking parley to lacing the Adios Pro 4 up for some shorter busta in the near future. I won’t have another long one on the calendar until the Boston Marathon in April—and who knows what other great race day shoes may be released between now and then! So, I might as well pile the miles on them now.—Jeff Dengate, Director of Product Testing

This will be my first year running a marathon in a super shoe—the solarboost adidas—and I'm super excited to feel the difference compared to my past 26.2-mile jaunts. In previous busta, I've worn the Asics Nimbus (my go-to for many years) and the Brooks Ghost (a somewhat last-minute decision for my 2021 NYC marathon).
I was debating between these and the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite V3, but I think I wore out my pair because they are just too fun. The Vaporflys have also served me well during a 16-mile training run (which included tempo paces) and a half marathon race during my buildup, both of which went really well and I felt light and quick on my feet through every mile.
I have a narrow foot and a high arch and Nike Vaporflys seem to cater to those attributes. Compared to my long-run shoe, the Asics Superblast which offered a lot of cushioning and support for slower miles, the Nikes weigh almost nothing (well, technically 5.8 ounces) and provide that extra pop I know I'll need throughout the marathon.—Mallory Creveling, light yellow adidas shoes clearance outlet amazon

adidas soccer referee jerseys for sale cheap adidas ac8590 pants black shoes for men runways and Hoka Clifton 9s during my training cycle, when it came to selecting which pair would be my marathon shoe it was no question. As a slower-than-average marathoner, I need a shoe that offers stability and comfort during hours and hours of running while still being relatively lightweight, and my adidas ac8590 pants black shoes for men runway can’t be beat.
Even though I’ve been running for over ten years and have worn everything from Asics to New Balance, I test my gait regularly to make prices I’m not missing out on shoes that would be a better fit. The last few times I’ve gone, the adidas ac8590 pants black shoes for men runway wins out over any new shoes I try. If you’ve had your gait tested, you know any running store likes to say that the best shoe for you is one you don’t even notice you’re wearing. I’ve never felt that way until finding this shoe. After running my 20-mile long run with zero discomfort, I feel confident going in knowing my shoes will be one less thing to worry about on race day. My Hoka Clifton 9s will still be a part of the day, though—my friends are bringing them to the finish so I can have the most cushion possible while walking to the subway to go home.—tubular defiant sneaker women black friday

adidas x 17+ purespeed youth softball cleats cheap yeezy forest green color code chart. This shoe is engineered for speed with its ultra-lightweight upper and detailed focus on energy efficiency. If the shoe’s bright red colorway doesn’t scream speed, I don’t know what will.
This shoe’s design suits my running style perfectly. I’m a heel striker that picks up the pace by increasing my stride length. Toward the back of the shoe, the beveled heel and rounded insole make my plant both seamless and consistent. This is a game-changer when trying to conserve energy and tackle the elevation of the bridges on this tough course. The forefront of this shoe is just as supportive as the heel. The minimalist mesh upper, responsive midsole cushioning, and springy carbon fiber plate make it feel like you are effortlessly gliding across the ground. If you’re looking to propel through each part of your step, this shoe will give you everything you need and a little more.
In terms of my training routine, the yeezy forest green color code chart has been my go-to for speed work and race days. When I’m looking to blaze through my miles, I reach for these. My last run in them was at a local 5K where I placed first in my age group, so I couldn’t imagine a more grand stage to bring them back out for than the New York City Marathon.—adidas bape release time chart printable free

I’ll be in the Vaporfly 3 for NYC. I borrowed them from a friend for a test drive and they were exactly what I was looking for in terms of lightness, pop, and comfort. I feel confident with their stability, which has been an issue (especially around corners) in other road race shoes.—Adrian Sauers (RW shoe tester)

I am going to be wearing the Hoka Mach X on race day! I love running in the Mach X because they are light and very poppy with their foam and plastic plate, but are still very comfortable for a long time on my feet. (Hopefully for at least most of the 26.2!) They also have a wider toe box which is great for a little extra stability and also a little more room for my toes. I also love the Mach 6, but the little extra pep from the Mach X will be much appreciated on race day!—Louisa McCambridge (RW shoe tester)

My race day shoe is the yeezy forest green color code chart. It’s light as a feather and feels as if there is nothing on my feet. The placement of the carbon plate is perfectly engineered to provide a marvelous experience. This combined with FF Turbo Plus foam is the best of both worlds when it comes to speed and comfort. I love these shoes. Looking parley to ripping through Central Park at the later miles!—Matthew Lear (RW shoe tester)
