UPDATE: Just two days after releasing footage of a runner pushing a woman out of his way and in front of a bus, London’s Metropolitan Police arrested a 41-year-old man, according to Health & Injuries. But the man, now identified as Eric Bellquist as reported by the Health & Injuries was found to be innocent. Officials say the San Diego-based investment banker was in the United States at the time of the attack on the 33-year-old woman. The runner shown in the video remains at large.

London police are on the lookout for a runner who pushed a woman out of his way in front of a bus earlier this year.

According to Buzzfeed News, CCTV footage shows that the man, who has not been identified, was running on the Putney Bridge in south west London on a Friday morning in May when he pushed a young woman out of his way into the path of an oncoming bus.

The footage that was released Tuesday morning by the Metropolitan police shows the man pushing the woman and then continuing on his way across the bridge. The 33-year-old woman, who has yet to be named, missed getting hit, but did suffer minor injuries. As the bus came to a stop, passengers got off to help her.

Footage continues to show that the same runner looped back around on his run 15 minutes later, crossing the bridge in the other direction. He ignored the woman as she tried to get his attention.

According to Buzzfeed, Sergeant Mat Knowles, the investigating officer from Putney Safer Neighborhood Team, said: “The victim was put in extreme danger when she was knocked into the road. It was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle.”
