Kalen Walker, a sprinter at the University of Iowa, ran a 4.15-second 40-yard dash on Saturday—the second-fastest unofficial time ever recorded for the event. The Hawkeye sprinter accomplished the feat on turf in Nike track spikes, showing off for Hawkeye fans during halftime against Northwestern University.

Walker, 23, is a fifth-year student at Iowa, a three-time All-American, and the runner-up in the 60 meters at the 2024 A Part of Hearst Digital Media.
