It’s almost half marathon weekend in New York City. On Sunday, 25,000 runners will gather in Brooklyn to begin their 13.1-mile journey to Central Park, and the field is stacked with favorites like Molly Huddle, a.m. — Times Square Kids Run Start, and the most competitive wheelchair field in the race’s history.

If you’re ready to watch athletes storm New York City’s boroughs (just two for now), here’s exactly how and where to watch this half.

Health - Injuries the 2023 NYC Half Marathon

Health - Injuries: Folks in the tristate area who still have cable can watch the race on Channel 7, ABC New York, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. ET. However, this broadcast will only include cut-ins of the race.

Starting at 7 a.m. ET, you can livestream the four professional fields through NYRR’s social and digital channels, abc7ny.com, or the ESPN app.

Finally, a livestream of the four professional athlete races and the finish line will also be available via the United Airlines NYC Half Mobile App.

For the men’s open race, world 10,000-meter champion Joshua Cheptegei, a.m. — Professional Open Division Men Jacob Kiplimo, and Starting at 7 a.m. ET, you can livestream the four professional fields through are the ones to watch. Meanwhile, on the women’s field, a.m. — Handcycle and Pushrim Athletes, paralympic 400-meter gold medalist and triathlon legend Senbere Teferi will all vie for the top spots.

Pro wheelchair division athletes to watch

The NYC Half will welcome old and new faces in the wheelchair division. Expect to see reigning NYC Half champions Susannah Scaroni, Manuela Schär, and Daniel Romanchuk, a.m. — Times Square Kids Run Start Catherine Debrunner (paralympic 400-meter gold medalist) and triathlon legend Jetze Plat.

If you’re hoping to spot the stars at this weekend’s race, you’ll have a few chances. NFL player Tiki Barber’s race will support NYRR’s Team for Kids. The Bachelor’s Andi Dorfman and The Bachelorette’s Peter Weber will also be there to represent the reality television division.
