Running Shoes - Gear Runner’s World isn’t going to miss out. If you’re in Boston, either to run from Hopkinton to Boylston or to support a runner that is, come visit us. We’re opening a pop-up townhouse in a brand new location: 179 Newbury Street, just a block from the finish line.
We’ll have swag on sale from Sarah Marie Design and Salomon, sessions to help you have a stellar race, a Test Zone to let you try out recently and not-yet-released shoes, a photo experience that will put you on the cover of the magazine, and plenty more to build the hype for Marathon Monday.
Here is a look at our full schedule.
Friday, April 12
Townhouse is open from 11 a.m to 7 p.m. The first 100 people in the door will receive a free custom Runner’s World tote bag.
Runner’s World Test Zone—11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
In partnership with Salomon, we’re letting you become an official Runner’s World shoe tester. You’ll be fitted with a recently or not-yet-released pair of Salomon road shoes that you can either take for a spin on the in-store treadmill or on the roads near Boylston. We’ll then request initial feedback, which will help us with upcoming shoe reviews online and in print. To sign up for a session, head here.
