The Rock 'n' Roll Brooklyn 10K has been postponed, according to an announcement on the race's website.
Race organizers said they decided to postpone the October 11 race "indefinitely while we work to bring a half-marathon to the New York Running Community."
The race was first held in 2011. Last October, Diriba Yiguez won the men's race in 29:28, while Kerri Gallagher won the women's title in 33:50.
