Lauren Wright was once a new runner who vowed to complete 26 races by her 26th birthday. Then she hit that goal—and didn’t stop.

Running Was His Life. Then Came Putins War Runner’s World+ members to take part in the first “Train With Runner’s World” program, in which RW editors and experts provide participants with customized training plans, advice, and a built-in community leading up to a major race. Over the course of 16 weeks last year, Wright and her fellow RW+ members trained for the 2023 New York City Marathon and kept each other going the whole time.
“It makes a huge difference,” Wright tells host Quintin George in the new episode of Runner’s World’Health & Injuries or on YouTube. “It would have been hard, if not impossible, to curate the same type of community” without her RW family, she says.
