Runner’s World Review
This new lightweight shoe has a gel-and-foam-blend midsole for a moderately soft, responsive ride from a shoe this thin. The outsole features sticky rubber in the forefoot and heel for grip, but has exposed foam at the midfoot to keep weight in check. The upper is seamless and snug for performance, with an understated style (and price tag) that’s aimed squarely at younger runners.

We put each shoe through real-world usage and a battery of mechanical tests in our lab to provide you with objective — and exclusive — data. In addition to a shoe's weight, we measure sole thickness (everything that sits between your foot and the road), how well the foam cushions your stride, and the flexibility of the forefoot. All this is taken into account in our reviews of each shoe.
