Runner’s World Review

The Thrill is the more supportive, more cushioned model in Reebok’s All Terrain line, designed as a training shoe for obstacle course racing. It features a mud-shedding upper with water drainage ports along the sides of the arch and drainage grooves on the top edge of the midsole. The outsole has deep, widely-spaced lugs for digging into soft terrain without taking it with you, and a puncture-resistant rock guard layer. Testers found the shoe rugged and attractive, with a comfortable fit. The heel is quite firm and the heel-toe drop the highest in this guide, making it ride best when digging through soft terrain.

We put each shoe through real-world usage and a battery of mechanical tests in our lab to provide you with objective — and exclusive — data. In addition to a shoe's weight, we measure sole thickness (everything that sits between your foot and the road), how well the foam cushions your stride, and the flexibility of the forefoot. All this is taken into account in our reviews of each shoe.
