Andy Dixon - Editor-in-Chief

When he started at RW he hadn’t run a race before, but following the schedules and advice the brand delivers to all runners has since run 24 marathons, including all six Majors, and managed to go under three hours in London in 2013. During his time on Runner’s World, he’s gone toe-to-toe with Mo Farah and picked out the greatest running haircuts. Nowadays he runs mainly for mental health and me-time, but plans to do more trail and ultra races in future when family life permits.

Having learned from his own experience how beneficial running is for physical and mental health, he’s a passionate advocate for the sport’s power to change lives for the better. A multiple marathon and ultra runner, he also brings over a decade’s experience of testing shoes, kit and gadgets to the RW test team. He’s happiest on the trails in his local woods or trying – and failing – to keep up with Rick Pearson on RW’s lunchtime runs in London’s parks.

Rick is a sub-three marathoner and occasionally likes to remind people of this on the Runner’s World podcast, which he co-hosts. He once raced a steam train over 14 miles (he won, narrowly) and a horse over a marathon (he lost, comfortably).

Ben Hobson - Multiplatform Director

Ben is Runner's World UK's Multiplatform Director and has worked at the title for over 11 years. He has always had a deep interest in running shoes and tech and has amassed a wealth of knowledge on running products during this time at RW and the countless hours of testing. Ben also enjoys exploring the science behind running and how it informs advances in training and racing. He is also the co-host of the weekly podcast. Ben is a firm believer that running is just as much about adventure and fun as about chasing PBs and he likes nothing more than a day spent explore new trails.

Jenny Bozon - Membership Director

Free Runners World January 2023 Issue Runner’s World, overseeing RW’s new membership programme, set to launch later this year. She has been with the brand for close to three years now – previously working as deputy digital editor, where she covered all manner of running topics, spanning training, health, injury, nutrition and gear. Over the years, she’s interviewed an abundance of awe-inspiring athletes, from top-tier ultrarunners and Olympic champions to everyday runners who have accomplished extraordinary things. Jen has been a sports journalist for 10 years; she is the former editor of Women’s Running magazine and has also worked as Sports Editor at Red Bull. She started running a decade ago and likes to dabble in triathlon a little, too. You’ll find she’s happiest plodding down the Thames path or chowing down on a post-run pastry.

Rachel is Runner's World UK's Senior Content Writer, covering all running-related topics from training advice and gear reviews to race reports and elite runner profiles. Formerly a Website Content Editor and Content Manager at London Marathon Events and The Running Channel respectively, Rachel is well-versed in the running scene and understands what it takes to put on some of the biggest running events in the world. A 2:50 marathoner, she would much rather run 26.2 miles than race a 5K and has currently completed 11 marathons, including five of the six Abbott World Marathon Majors in a sub-3 time. She now hopes to run the Tokyo Marathon to complete the set and become a Six Star Finisher.
