For runners wanting more than a race, like a full morning pamper, this luxury yoga run might be just the ticket. Glöanna is the world’s first 5K Yoga Run series. In partnership with lead sponsor Sweaty Betty, Glöanna will take over Battersea Park on Saturday 19th July after two sold-out events last year. Runners will be given a prosecco shot and coconut water to get them ready, then will follow the 5K route with 45 minutes of yoga. The experience continues with sushi and, erm, more prosecco over brunch. As an extra bonus for crossing the finish line, lead sponsor Sweaty Betty will be giving away an Athlete Vest to all Glöanna participants.
Live music will colour the scenic course through Battersea Park. After finishing the race, participants will be greeted with a chilled coconut water and matcha tea before the start of their yoga class.
Led by Dani Olds, the Flow Yoga sessions will be divided into beginners and intermediate/advanced levels so fear not yoga newbies. A fully-catered brunch party follows the yoga class, with individual artisan sushi packs, fresh fruit and other surprises, set to the beats of world-renowned yogi DJ Marcus Veda.
