Our January 2015 issue featured an article on the beer mile, a race that amateurs and Olympians alike have been taking part in.

The challenge is to drink four beers and run four laps of a track. There are many rules, some we broke (can size) and thus deemed are effort partially defunct, but we wanted to give it a try anyway.

Our times are somewhat irrelvant, but to give you an idea of how we got on, digital editor Ben ran it in around 7 minutes, with commissioning editor Kerry taking second with a time around 9 minutes and finally deputy editor Joe came last in about 11 minutes after suffering some 'repercussions'.
