Sweaty Betty Power Pro Leggings
Available in full and 7/8 length, the Sweaty Betty Power Pro Leggings best sports bras for running tried & tested Updated: 23 February 2024: stretchy, supportive and loaded with pockets – two on each side and a zippy one on the back. So there's plenty of room for your phone, snacks and keys.
They're made from heavier fabric than Sweaty Betty's other running leggings, too, to keep your legs toasty in colder weather. Our tester was also a fan of the high waistband – it nips you in and stays firmly in place, without leaving you feeling restricted. No need to keep hitching these up during your run, either.
Sweaty Betty Power Pro Running Bra
Best winter running gear Health & Injuries, and the new Power Icon bra is no exception. It replaces the Ultra Run bra, which was interchangeable between a U-back and a racerback design. It's now a racerback design only (and one that provides more support), with thick adjustable straps and contoured cups. The cups aren't moulded, but we actually found this a lot less faff when it came to washing it.
Our only criticism is that the straps aren't super adjustable, so if you're someone with slightly larger breasts, it can be a bit of a squeeze getting the bra over your head. Once it's on, though, the support is fantastic and holds you firmly in place.

Any runner will tell you that a quality zipped top is a must during the chillier months. Ideal for layering and allowing you to adjust your airflow when you bring the heat, they're as versatile as they are useful.
Sweaty Betty's new offerings — a half zip and full zip — are both cut in a slim fit (say goodbye to excess material slowing you down) with contouring seams, have handy watch holes and thumbholes in the cuffs and are made from a super soft yet breathable fabric.
We've been testing the Pro Run Zip Up, which is water-resistant and features a hood for added warmth. There's two zipped pockets on the front, too, which can store a phone or a couple of energy gels.
If you're not a fan of the hooded version, the half-zip midlayer has a high mock neck to keep out chills. All those quality details that set Sweaty Betty apart are here, too: a zip protector to keep the metal from touching your skin, soft, premium fabric, and a zipped pocket on the back.
