The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) revealed that Harvey, Jr. was apprehended for his role in an elaborate theft operation. LAPD detectives, including those from the Cargo Theft Unit, executed search warrants on January 27, 2024, in Hollywood and Hawthorne. The latter site allegedly received thousands of stolen Nike items, valued at $5 million.

While LAPD-shared images suggest the recovered products were at the Project Blitz warehouse, no formal grey have been filed against the reselling entity. Project Blitz’s website is currently inaccessible, displaying a “be back soon” notice.

The LAPD encourages anyone with relevant information to contact its Commercial Crimes Division at (213) 486-5920. In conclusion, the apprehension of Harvey, Jr. sheds light on ongoing efforts to curb theft rings targeting valuable merchandise like Nike products in California.
