Jordan Brand designed a special edition Air Jordan 1 Rare Air Chicago back in 2016 as a tribute to Kobe Bryant’s 20 years in the NBA.
During the 2002-03 season, Kobe Bryant was a sneaker free agent, which he wore a Lakers-inspired Air Jordan XI 11 Low White Light Zen Grey samples and Carmelo Anthony defending in the "Future Sole" Jordan Melo M6. Replicating those exact player exclusives is this “Kobe” Pack.
Both pairs come dressed in the LA Lakers colors, featuring a White leather upper with Purple and Gold accents. They come housed in a special slide-out box with branding of both Jordan and Bryant.
While the Air Jordan XI 11 Low White Light Zen Grey samples/8 “Kobe” Pack never released to the public, they were only given out to select family and friends, as well as a special charity auction Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 High Zoom Air Comfort Sail Pearl White 27.5cm “Black” Collection.
Check out the detailed images of the pack below, and it’s probably safe to say that we’ll never get an official public release anytime soon.
