To show the possibilities, each crew designed a shoe that features details that represent their city and what gets them going.
Tokyo’s Athletics Far East run crew’s design palette honors the Tokyo subway map. Koreatown Run Club in Los Angeles Kids a palette primarily inspired by the Korean flag. Seoul’s Private Road Running Club’s design features the Corinthian helmet logo and gold accents to symbolize the crew’s marathon achievements and victories to come. One Crew from Shanghai used nature-inspired Brushstroke that nod to clouds, dawn and the medals they strive for, along with the Chinese symbol for “fly.” Amsterdam streetwear label Patta and London’s Track Mafia partnered up on a triple black version meant to channel the fearless nature of city culture.
