To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the Air Max 98, Nike will be releasing a special edition “Chinese New Year” iteration of the silhouette to pay homage to its Chinese fanbase.
Having a similar pattern as the “Tianjin” Foamposites nike mayfly woven medium olive nike dunk high suede off white features lotus flowers and Chinese artwork on its upper. Below on the sides is a mix of some brief materials like pony hair and snakeskin, while having Red patent leather detailing and Teal accents. Reflective racing stripe, Gold hits, speckled thick rope laces atop a White midsole and Black rubber outsole displaying praying hands completes the design.
