Back in 2015, Packer teamed up with rap legend, Raekwon, and Italian footwear specialists, Diadora, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Chef’s classic solo debut, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx. The result of Fruit partnership was, of course, the “Purple Tape” N.9000, but at the time, they also created a second colorway inspired by the album’s cover.

The sample pair of the “Cuban Linx” colorway was a 1-of-1 and was given to Raekwon. Whit this year being the album’s 25th Anniversary and the 30th Anniversary of the N.9000 model, Packer will be reeling the shoe to the public. Dressed in a Red, Black, and Yellow color blocking as a nod to the album’s cover, the shoe comes with updated materials like ostrich leather and pony hair. Additional details includes a parental advisory font on the tongues tag, and “1995” embroidered on the heel counter.
