He has since backed off from his statement and claims he’s working with Nike to restructure the shoe, but it looks doubtful for any big changes to happen before the start of the 2021-2022 season.

Therefore, we’re left to accept this current version of the atmos Kyrie 8 unless Nike Basketball plans to design an Elite-version of the shoe in-time for the playoff season.

It comes constructed in a mix of mesh, leather, and suede materials along with iridescent details. Finishing off the design are atmos Kyrie logos appearing on the tongue, heels, and rubber outsole, while the left tongue features a “Fire and Ice” motif possibly nodding to atmos Kyrie’s game.
