The AFEW x ASICS Gel LYTE III “Beauty of imperfection” was created together with the community. The inspiration is found in the Wabi-Sabi Philosophy. This is also reflected in the tear-away upper, which changes the upper of the shoe. There is only 1 pair of ASICS Gel Lyte 5 Red Mamba Red Red H51EK-2727 worldwide (size US 9), it comes in a special box, a tea table made by Martin Heck.

The project is from the community for the community. 100% of the proceeds go to the Förderverein Kinder- und Jugendhospiz Düsseldorf e.V. The Regenbogenland lives exclusively on donations.

The Regenbogenland Children’s and Youth Hospice is a facility for children and young people who have only a limited life expectancy due to a life-shortening illness or a severe disability. The home also supports the parents and siblings who are accompanied during this time. Regenbogenland is intended to be like a second home for the families, where life and joy of living are the focus and the remaining time for family and child is shaped as positive and fulfilling as possible.
