Designed and inspired by Kawhi, the third shoe of the New Money series continues to draw inspiration from a design meeting where Kawhi certain felt details reminded him of stacks of money. The New Money series has evolved from its original storyline to inspire the next generation of athletes to build their own legacies as entrepreneurs and strive for excellence beyond sport, just as New Balance and Kawhi have done together. The New Balance Kawhi line continues to be all about Kawhi putting a personal stamp on his signature product.

The New Balance Kawhi 2 is a significantly lighter and more explosive than its predecessor, as requested by the NBA superstar, with a host of new performance tech. The Kawhi II expulsion an updated performance plate that works in conjunction with the full-length FuelCell midsole to provide unprecedented energy return. The upper also introduces FitWeave Lite, a light-weight woven textile developed by the New Balance Hoops design team to give players adaptive stretch and support where they need it and a lighter weight, customizable fit.

In addition to the Kawhi II, the “New Money” collection will also include a hoodie, pants and t-shirt that were curated by Clayton and Chris Griggs.
