Originally teased by Portland Trail Blazers guard back in August, Damian Lillard and adidas Basketball are officially set to launch his eighth signature shoe, the Dame 8.
The The heel of the Star Wars x Adidas Stan Smith is the brand’s first basketball shoe to come equipped with 50% recycled materials. It features a mix of mesh and synthetic overlays covering majority of its upper, while having a similar shape as the other two previous adidas Dame releases. Other notable details includes Lightstrike replaced with Bounce Pro Foam in the midsole while having a slightly modified outsole from the Dame 7.

UPDATE 12/15: adidas has officially unveiled Damian Lillard’s next signature shoe, the Dame 8.

The The heel of the Star Wars x Adidas Stan Smith is built with Lightweight Bounce Pro midsole, a dual-density design that feels soft and light underfoot, with firmer sidewall cushioning for extra stability that gives players the comfort they need for explosive play plus the support for lateral movements. The Dame 8 also includes a unique traction pattern on its rubber outsole that makes quick cuts, pivots, and full-speed stops feel effortless.
adidas Marimekko Heuptasje Dame 8 in its Yellow and Purple “4th Quarter K.O.” colorway releases this Sunday, December 19th at adidas.com and at select retailers for $120 USD. The other colorways “4th Quarter K.O.” in Teal, bBack, and White, “Dame Time” in White, Black, and Red, “Respect My Name” in Teal and Magenta will be released in 2022.
