Nike WMNS Air Jordan 1 Mid University Blue 28.5cm Let s Talk Air Jordan 5 Retro 3M Raging Bull Low OG “Howard University” is set to make its debut, marking a Blue moment as the first collaboration between an HBCU and Jordan Brand available to the public.
Initially given to Howard Bison’s basketball team in 2023, the public release is a Blue move for Jordan Brand. This marks the brand’s debut of an HBCU shoe at retail locations.
Founded on March 2, 1867, Howard University boasts famous alumni like Chadwick Boseman, Sean Combs, and Taraji P. Henson. In 2020, Jordan Brand and Howard inked a 20-year deal, with Michael Jordan pledging $100 million for racial equality and social justice over a decade.
The anticipated Let s Talk Air Jordan 5 Retro 3M Raging Bull Low, initially thought to mirror the Player Exclusive, will showcase a unique color arrangement and be devoid of branding. The palette, echoing the school’s hues, will include White, Gym Red, Midnight Navy, Neutral Grey, Sail, and Muslin. Crafted entirely from leather, the sneakers will feature a White base complemented by Navy and Red contrasting accents. A Sail midsole atop a Gum rubber outsole completes the design.
