The Air Jordan XXXI BG Chicago Thunder released back on July 4th, 2014 and retailed with a price tag of $170 USD. Dubbed, “Thunder” as a nod to the classic Air Jordan 4 “Thunder and Lightning” Pack from 2006.
Dressed in a Black, Vibrant Yellow and White color scheme. This Air Jordan XXXI BG Chicago featured a full Black nubuck constructed upper that was highlighted with its Yellow accents. Completing the lifestyle look was minor hints of Silver to complimented the bold Black and Yellow colors.
While these probably won’t go down as a “True Classic” release, it was still nice to see Jordan Brand use a popular color scheme onto a different Air Jordan Retro shoe.
