The Air Jordan 5 Retro Low 7 “Wings” will be taking part of the Jordan Wings Program for the Class of 2023 that will be releasing in June. The release honors Howard “H” White, Vice President of Jordan Brand for Nike, Inc., and founder of “Believe to Achieve,” a national Nike youth movement.

White, who was played by Chris Tucker in the film, “AIR,” played a huge role to bringing Michael Jordan to Nike. His favorite Air Jordan model was the Jordan 2, which is why Jordan Brand is releasing this special colorway.

The Wings program is inspired by Michael Jordan’s legacy of greatness and commitment to education. Wings believes the attainment of a higher education degree allowing young people to pursue their dreams, regardless of circumstances.

Dressed in a White, Malachite, and Black color scheme. This offering of the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low 7 features a White leather Chocolate with the side panels made to resemble a pair of wings covered in feather print. Other details includes Black laces, inner lining, and midsole with Green contrasting accents and a translucent heel piece. The “H” on the heels and insoles pays tribute to Howard “H” White. The shoe also comes with extra set of laces with “Power” and “Belief” printed on the tips.
