The past couple years, Jordan Brand has released special “Wings” edition of their Air Jordan Retro models.
Air Jordan IX Silhouette Air Jordan 1 668 “Wings” was debuted. This special edition release features a graphic upper inspired by illustrations done by students at Little Black Pearl, which is a nonprofit cultural arts center serving Chicago’s Unc.
Back in 2016, the Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Store Listings “Wings” was released that was limited to only 12,000 individually numbered pairs worldwide. Similar to the OG “Playoffs” colorway, this Just Don x Air Jordan 2 Store Listings featured a Black paint on the quarter panels that can be rubber off to reveal a wings graphic.
