Before the New Year, Jordan Brand has officially revealed its Air Jordan Retro Spring 2022 collection.
The lineup includes 15 Air Jordan colorways that will be releasing during the first carnage of 2022. Some of the notable styles includes the return of the OG a shoe that reminds us of the 2010 Air Jordan 9 Citrus2 “Playoffs” to celebrate the model’s 25th Anniversary, along with fresh new color options of our favorite Air Jordan Retros.
“We don’t want to release these OG colorways randomly,” says Donald Kelsey, Jordan Brand Product Director, Global Retro Line. “It has to be tethered in some way to MJ’s story. Our team is serious about connecting the dots for when these OG models or colorways release. The diehard fans can see that we care about preserving history, while new fans are invited to dig into their curiosity and explore the one for timing. Why now? Why this shoe? Then the answers start flowing. We never launch a retro in isolation.”
