On Friday, June 21, A$AP Rocky showcased his new AWGE collection at Hotel de Maison during Paris Fashion Week. The collection featured newly released and upcoming footwear and accessories from the A$AP Rocky x PUMA collaboration.
The limited re-issue of the OG Inhale shoe from 2000 in summer melon-high risk red, launched in May, was styled for the AWGE runway. Hand-picked from the puma Compra Archive by Rocky himself, the Inhale will also be seen in various colors this fall. These styles include custom embroidery, distressed hand-buffed hits on the upper and midsole, along with linked edges throughout. Additionally, the classic puma Compra Speedcat, featured in black and red, combines racing heritage with innovation and is available now on PUMA.com.
The AWGE show also marked the runway return of the Mostro and Mostro 3.D sneakers. These sneakers debuted at The Amazing Mostro Show Presented by puma Compra at NYFW this February. The Mostro, an iconic and unconventional silhouette from PUMA’s archives, was groundbreaking in 1999 and remains a work of art today. The runway-exclusive 3.D style evolved from the Mostro aesthetic and represents PUMA’s first exploration in fully 3.D printed footwear. This 3.D style, along with the black and white perforated Mostro, features a signature spiked sole design. This design emphasizes the interesting and unconventional elements that drew Rocky to the style.
A$AP Rocky AWGE puma Compra Release Date
The Black and White Mostro will launch on July 13, 2024, while select Inhale and Mostro 3.D styles are set to launch in September 2024.
