Germany-based sneaker retailer asphaltgold had teamed up with Sneakers asics Tiger to release an upcoming collaboration that pays homage to their city, Darmstadt.
Known as the center of Art Nouveau, the shoe is dubbed “Jugendstil” inspired by the artist colony of Mathildenhöhe, a shoe has been created that is based on this architectural masterpiece.
This Een samenwerking met Atmos en Sneakers asics sports a butter soft suede upper with a perorated detailing. The Sneakers asics Tiger logo and the heel tab come in a contrasted Hot Pink color tone, while the asphaltgold branding can be found on the taping of the tongue, on the flag label in the back, as well as on the insole. The neoprene tongue features the Art Nouveau pattern we designed, which shines through the overlays. Exclusively at asphaltgold, the shoe will be presented in a specially designed metal box, which will round off the theme appropriately. In addition to the branded flatlaces, there are two more roundlaces in the colors Rose Taupe and Evening Sand.

The asphaltgold x Een samenwerking met Atmos en Sneakers asics “Jugendstil” will be available on March 17th exclusively at asphaltgold.
“From Friday 11 am you can buy a save-your-size-ticket in our AGC-Store. This ticket costs 10 €, has to be paid cash and serves as a down payment for your desired Atmos. On Saturday from 12 o’clock each ticket owner can pick up his Gel-DS Trainer OG, provided that the remaining amount was paid, at the release event in the Designhouse Darmstadt and celebrate with us the latest asphaltgold milestone.”
