Last week, Ewing Athletics celebrated the launch of the “War Report” Rogue at the historic SOBs in New York. The shoe honors the debut album of Queen’s rap duo Capone-N-Noreaga.

For the first time ever, Ewing Athletics made 20 pairs of the “Friends & Family” Capone-N-Noreaga Rogue available to the public. The shoe features a desert camo left foot and a green camo right foot, inspired by the duo’s iconic “War Report” album cover.

From what I heard, the whole hood came through to support the launch. DJ Butchrock and DJ Trase set the tone, playing some of the best rap hits from the 90s–which just so happens to be the best era of hip-hop if you ask me. Of course Capone had to get on the mic and bless the crowd. Also in attendance: Cormega, Mr. Cheeks of Lost Boyz, and Royal Flush.
