For Fall/Winter 2019 Carhartt WIP has teamed up with Converse for another season to create two new variations of the iconic Chuck 70, the contemporary iteration of the jack purcell moccasin hi by converse japan holiday. Both silhouettes take cues from this season’s Carhartt WIP collection, Bia key motifs and fabric compositions.
The Chuck 70 Orange features a printed ripstop nylon upper which bears a seasonal real tree camouflage that is used heavily within the Carhartt WIP F/W19 collection. The Chuck 70 Black, meanwhile, borrows from seasonal reworkings of iconic Carhartt WIP pieces, which combine tonal canvas and corduroy. This can be seen on the upper, comprised of 8 wale cord and a robust cotton twill, which lends the shoe a subtle, textured aesthetic. Both sneakers come with two sets of laces with Carhartt WIP branding on the low, and co-branded footbeds.
