Do you prefer OG or Retro Air Jordan releases? Have you ever wonder why some sell more than others? How about the simple fact that just because the “Nike Air” is slap on a back heel that they’ll sell more than the retro version.
Every year Jordan Brand re-releases some classic OG models in retro form when celebrating a certain 23rd anniversary of a particular silhouette. It’s kind of rare to see people these days rocking OG Jordans from the 90’s to the early 2000’s. One of the major differences between OG Jordans and Retro Jordans is the fact that they’re made with better materials – which causes the big demand for OG releases.
There are pros and cons for both OG vs. Retro releases. For OG Jordans, you can always count on them being high quality, but more expensive. For Retro Jordans, one thing to look forward to is the new introduced color schemes, like the previous released Air Jordan 3 “Wolf Grey” colorway, but is produced with lower quality.
Jordan Brand is set to remaster their Air Jordan Retro releases for their Spring 2015 lineup, which will lead to higher quality Retro/OG Air Jordans. So before we are introduced to the remastered versions, which have you been a more fan of – Air Jordan OG or Air Jordan Retro Releases?
