Boston-based sneaker store Concepts and Blue nike SB have released popular “Lobster” Dunks inspired by the different colors of lobsters.
Released back in 2008, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Red Lobster” is inspired by the crustacean featuring a Red upper contrasted by a picnic blanket-themed lining. A Blue wristband around the toe, which alludes to the Blue elastic bands placed around a lobster’s claws, completes the design.
Released in 2018, the Nike SB Dunk Low “Purple Lobster” combines the previous Red and Blue editions into a mythical Purple lobster. It features a Purple upper with the signature plaid lining and elastic band wrapped around the forefoot similar to how lobster claws are secured.
