Leading into the 45th anniversary of the NBA x ABA merger, Converse is releasing a new ABA (American Basketball Association) capsule that aims to channel the soulful energy of its final plays and superdry lasting impact on the game today, including the first Slam Dunk contest, won by Julius “Dr. J” Erving.
The Converse x ABA capsule releases modern Converse basketball sneakers in new colors to represent the high-flying energy the ABA brought to the game. It will include Enamel Red, White and Rush Blue color treatments on iconic Converse silhouettes – the CONVERSE ALL STAR 100 JACQUARDTIGER OX BLACK, G4 and Chuck 70.
