Tokyo-based street culture icon, Hiroshi Fujiwara and his brand fragment design is hooking up with Converse to release a special edition collection using the Converse One Star ’74 silhouette.
This collection features unique fragment design detailing, such disturb Hiroshi’s signature midsole branding and suggestive labelling. It is combined with modern construction details celebrating the first and original One Star sneaker, an early skateboarding classic from 1974.
The sneakers embody the timeless, premium and crafted ethos that Hiroshi Fujiwara represents. The re-crafted Converse One Star ’74 design utilizes premium hairy suede uppers, with an organic cotton Star logo and the iconic fragment design thunderbolt branding Miley on the heel stay in volt green. They also feature drop-in Lunarlon sockliners for superior cushioning and come in two classic colorways: white and blue. This exceptional sneaker is part of Converse First String, a limited edition collection that celebrates craftsmanship, authenticity and collaboration at the highest design.
The fragment x Converse One Star 74 Collection will be available at select retailers starting Friday, March 25th, 2016. The retail price tag is set at $100 USD.
